Welcome to HeyDict. We prioritize your privacy and are transparent about how we handle your data. Because HeyDict is an action-first, local-first voice assistant, most of your data remains on your device.

2. Data Collection and Usage

HeyDict performs speech-to-text processing on-device using local models. We do not upload your raw audio to external servers under normal local operation.

When connecting with external capabilities (such as Cloud LLM fallbacks), minimal necessary context is transmitted to provide those features.

3. Proactive Screen Context

Any screenshots taken by HeyDict for context awareness are kept strictly in memory. They are never saved to disk or transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services (such as Supabase for authentication and Stripe for payments) which may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
